About Robert

I am a friendly and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher with over 30 years professional teaching experience in school, along with an outstanding success rate. I teach both face-to-face and online via Zoom or Skype.
I specialise in Primary Key Stage 2, including Entrance Exams, 11+ and SATs. As a result, my students have been accepted into many different grammar schools.

I teach Secondary Key Stage 3, up to and including GCSE. I have excellent knowledge of all exam boards. I cover the Edexcel, AQA and OCR Mathematics Exams and possess past exam papers for all exam boards. I have consistently gained outstanding results and my pupils always achieve their targeted grades or higher.
I am up to date with the Mathematics National Curriculum and have an up-to-date DBS certificate.

- Primary School Mathematics: Key Stage 2
- Entrance Exams and 11+
- SATs
- Secondary School Mathematics: Key Stage 3
- GCSE

I like to create a strong bond with my students so that they feel at ease, happy and confident to succeed. I am friendly and approachable, and flexible according to the student's needs. I focus on helping students think creatively and independently and increase their problem solving and analytical abilities. It is important to create an atmosphere where students look forward to lessons and feel at ease.
Every lesson I teach is carefully planned to suit each pupil's learning and needs. The lesson will end with a check to see what the child has taken from the lesson. I will provide feedback at the end of each lesson to parents. I set homework between sessions to consolidate the learning from the session.
