About Tanuj
I hold a PhD in mathematical modelling of medical data and a postdoc from University of Oxford. I have plenty of teaching experience and whenever possible I help students visualise maths. I thoroughly enjoy teaching. I also interact with school students of all age groups at various science festivals educating them about cancer and imaging research. TUTORING APPROACH:
The classes are individually tailored to the student’s needs. The students tell me in advance which topic they want to learn. I prepare a few questions & solutions for the chosen topic to tutor during our joint session and encourage students to bring specific exercises related to the chosen topic. I ask student to solve problems in front of me to ensure that they have understood the concepts well. I try to help visualise maths when possible to enhance students capabilities in approaching a problem along side learning the methods. At the end, I try to point out the key points learned during our session.

COVERAGE ZONE AND FEE:
I teach at the student's house or public places like library and costa. I tutor maths to Adult Learners, University, A-Level, GCSE, KS3, KS2 and KS1 students. Please note marking homework outside the tutoring hour is chargeable. I am happy for the tutee to follow pay-as-you-learn policy and no advanced block booking is required.
The fee mentioned below is for one-on-one session at MY HOME in UB10. Plenty of FREE parking is available on long lane. I am currently teaching only from my HOME.
£39 per hour for AS, A Levels
£49 per hour for Adult Learner, University Level
I neither have the experience nor the qualification to teach students with special needs. Misbehavior by the student or the parents will not be tolerated. I have a basic Scotland Disclosure issued dated 05/01/2017.
