About Noor
I am currently a PhD student at the University of Birmingham and also work part-time as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant at the university. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, teaching students from primary level up to GCSE.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have helped many students improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance in Maths. I always aim to create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I am passionate about teaching and believe that every student can succeed in Maths with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level and learning pace. I begin by teaching the fundamental concepts for each topic to ensure students build a strong understanding and confidence in Maths. I believe that understanding the basics is very important before moving on to more challenging questions.
Once students are comfortable with the topic, I guide them through exam-style questions and problem-solving techniques to help them become familiar with different question formats and improve their exam performance. I also provide revision sessions before tests and assessments to strengthen their understanding and boost confidence.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and encouraging. My main objective is to help students improve academically while also making Maths enjoyable and less stressful, so they can develop confidence and see Maths as a fun subject to learn.
