About Dong
Furthermore, while at McGill University, I volunteered as an alumni mentor for the McGill Mentor Program for 8 years and I was invited to judge medical students' poster presentations for prizes at Annual McGill University Medical School Student Research Day for 5 years. Besides working in the lab, I am a long distance runner and I have competed in 15 marathon races in Canada, US and Europe, including Boston Marathon in 2017 2021 and 2024.

I taught both an introductory biology course and an advanced molecular and biochemistry lab course at McGill University. In addition, I supervised and managed undergraduate students, technicians and fellow postdoctoral researchers at McGill University in Montreal Canada, and Institut IMAGINE in Paris, France. The data from these supervisions were published as poster presentations at institutional, national and international conferences.
With my extensive knowledge and research experience in biology, I am teaching the student not only the text book, but also how to explore and connect the scientific field, and interested learning.
