About Iro
I am a Language Enthusiast- Currently working on 4 languages- and a Music Graduate. Music and Language had always been interconnected for me, as I grew up learning both piano and foreign languages, and I found that many learning methods were interchangeable. While at University I took two languages- Hindi and Hebrew in order to expand my language skills in non-Western languages. I am fluent in English (have been learning since the age of seven) and I also speak Spanish. Teaching for me started in my high school years, I had my most language students when I lived in London, studying for my BA.

I always adapt my teaching style to the individuality of the student and their learning goals. I use multimedia, reading and writing, a lot of listening and speaking but most of all I like to teach hands on, real life Greek that doesn't sound like it's come out of a 1950's textbook. I use a lot of songs, movies, youtube videos and structure my lessons very densely.
