About Natsu

Hello, and welcome. I’m a professional Japanese tutor who is passionate about helping students learn Japanese in a clear, structured, and supportive way. I understand that choosing a teacher is an important decision, especially if Japanese feels challenging or unfamiliar. My role is to guide you with patience, clarity, and consistency from the very first lesson.

I approach teaching with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. Each lesson is carefully prepared, clearly structured, and adapted to your individual goals and level. I believe that students learn best when they feel confident, respected, and supported, so I create a calm learning environment where questions are always welcome and progress is steady.

My teaching style focuses on building real understanding. Rather than memorizing without context, I help students understand how Japanese works and how to use it naturally in real situations. This approach allows students to gain confidence step by step and apply what they learn both inside and outside the classroom.

I work with beginners and intermediate learners from different backgrounds, including students learning Japanese for daily conversation, work, travel, or JLPT exams. No matter your starting point, I take your goals seriously and support you with clear explanations, practical guidance, and honest feedback.

If you are looking for a reliable, patient, and professional tutor who is committed to your progress, I would be happy to support you on your Japanese learning journey.

About the lesson

As a Japanese tutor, my goal is to help students understand Japanese clearly and use it confidently in real life. I focus on building a strong foundation step by step, so students don’t just memorize rules but truly understand how Japanese works. I believe learning should feel structured, supportive, and practical, especially for beginners.

I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, goals, and pace. Whether you are learning Japanese for daily conversation, work, travel, or JLPT exams, I make sure lessons are easy to follow and stress-free.

Teaching Methods & Techniques
• Clear explanations in simple, easy-to-understand English
• Step-by-step breakdown of grammar, sentence structure, and particles
• Practical examples used in daily Japanese conversation
• Frequent speaking practice to build confidence
• Repetition and review to help students remember naturally
• Customized materials, examples, and exercises based on your goals

I always encourage questions and adjust explanations until everything feels clear.

A typical lesson includes:
1. Warm-up / Review – Review previous content or simple conversation practice
2. New Content – Grammar, vocabulary, or expressions explained clearly
3. Guided Practice – Making sentences together and correcting mistakes
4. Speaking Practice – Using what you learned in realistic situations
5. Wrap-up & Homework (optional) – Light exercises or review suggestions

Lessons are well-organized but flexible, depending on your needs.

What Sets Me Apart
• Patient and supportive teaching style, ideal for beginners and shy learners
• Strong focus on understanding “why,” not just memorizing
• Experience teaching students from different backgrounds
• Lessons designed for real communication, not textbook-only Japanese
• Calm and friendly atmosphere where mistakes are welcome

My lessons are ideal for:
• Absolute beginners to intermediate learners
• Students learning Japanese for daily conversation, work, or travel
• JLPT learners (especially N5–N3)
• High school students, university students, and adult learners
• Anyone who wants structured, clear, and practical Japanese lessons

No prior Japanese knowledge is required for beginner lessons
