About the lesson

I approach teaching by assessing the unique needs and learning style of the student. As an Adobe Lightroom tutor, I have built software and editing lessons around a project the student wished to complete (a photo book) and tailored the editing and organizational sessions around their interest and goals. I believe in hands-on learning and encourage students to experiment with the fundamental skills, to find their own preferred techniques and style.

I have over 20 years experience in film photography and over 10 years experience in digital photography. My professional photographic work covers a range of styles and subjects, from events and portraiture, to fine art and editorial. I have extensive experience in photo editing, and specialize in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I am also a Digital Asset Manager, and an expert at organizing and tidying digital archives.
