About Heidi

I am an experienced Physics teacher with over 12 years of teaching GCSE and A Level Physics, specialising in the AQA specification. I have previously been Head of Physics and now teach at Repton School, where I also hold a senior pastoral role supporting students in their academic progress, confidence and study skills. I am passionate about helping students understand Physics in a clear and accessible way, breaking down complex ideas and building strong exam technique so they can achieve their full potential. Whether you are aiming to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or build confidence in challenging topics, I tailor my tutoring to meet your individual needs and help you succeed.

About the lesson

I am an experienced Physics teacher with over 12 years of teaching experience, specialising in GCSE and A Level Physics, with extensive experience teaching the AQA specification.

Having previously been a Head of Physics Head of Department, I have a deep understanding of the curriculum, assessment objectives and what students need to do to achieve the highest grades. I am particularly experienced in helping students develop confidence with challenging concepts, mathematical problem-solving and exam technique.

I currently work at Repton School, where I have a senior pastoral role within the boarding community. This has given me extensive experience supporting young people not only academically, but also with confidence, organisation, motivation and developing effective study habits.
