• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  I developed an interest in teaching piano when I was in the university where I studied educational psychology and music.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  Music has helped me a lot throughout my life. Playing piano is my favourite way of expressing myself and relieving stress.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I’m a very patient person. I like to teach kids and see them grow and improve.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

  My piano teacher inspired me a lot. She graduated from Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. She taught me a lot about piano as well as her way to teach students.

• What are your keys to success?

  My keys to be a good piano teacher are to customize the lessons depending on students’ age, musical background and skills, also to be patient and make sure students understand the materials thoroughly.
