I have been learning to play the piano with Richard for a few years now. As an adult learner with no previous musical skills I have found this challenging! However, Richard's patience is seemingly endless! I'm now able to read music and play to grade 4 level. Richard is an excellent teacher who manages to strike a good balance of encouragement whilst challenging me to keep achieving more.

Richard has taught my daughters for the last 6 years and they’ve made amazing progress and have found their lessons to be engaging and fun. My eldest daughter (14yo) has recently completed her ABRSM grade 8 piano with distinction and my younger daughter (12yo) is prepping for her grade 6 piano exam after completing her grade 5 theory.
My husband and I can’t play any instruments or read music so all progress is down to Richards teaching and a lot of practice. My girls have had both in person and online lessons (during Covid) and they’ve both worked well
My very lively 5 year old son recently started with Richard and although I doubted that he would sit through a lesson he seems to really enjoy his lessons and is keen to practice at home.
We tried a few different teachers when my girls were younger, both at school and after school and Richard suited them the best and has kept them motivated all these years. I can’t recommend him enough
