About Aleksandra
Hi! I'm an experienced project and program management professional with a background spanning the Canadian federal government and private-sector consulting.
I spent six years working for the Government of Canada, where I worked in complex project environments involving multidisciplinary teams, multiple stakeholders, governance requirements, risk management, planning and project delivery. My experience included projects ranging from relatively small initiatives to major, complex programs requiring senior-level approvals.
Since leaving government, I've worked in consulting and project management, supporting organizations with project planning, business strategy, processes, documentation and delivery.
I also bring an academic and teaching background to my work. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Toronto, have previous university teaching experience, and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. This combination of practical project experience and teaching experience helps me break complicated concepts down into understandable, real-world examples.
I'm currently completing my PMP certification, so I also have recent experience studying contemporary project management frameworks and terminology. However, my tutoring is based primarily on my professional project-management experience rather than presenting myself as PMP-certified.
