About Callum
Hello, my name is Callum and thank you for checking out my advert. I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience teaching pupils across a range of class levels and learning needs. I recently completed a full year teaching a multigrade class from 3rd to 6th Class and have also worked in mainstream, special education, and substitute-teaching settings.
I am patient, approachable, and encouraging, and I understand that every child learns differently. I enjoy finding clear and practical ways to explain difficult concepts while helping pupils feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
My goal is to build each child’s confidence and provide supportive, personalized lessons that reflect their individual needs and interests.

I am a qualified primary school teacher offering friendly, personalised support in Maths, English and Irish for primary school pupils. I have experience teaching across different class levels, including a full year in a multigrade 3rd–6th class.
Each lesson is adapted to the child’s individual needs. I can help with areas such as reading, writing, spelling, grammar, Gaeilge, numeracy and general homework support. My aim is to explain difficult concepts clearly, build the pupil’s confidence and help them progress at a comfortable pace.
Lessons are available online or in person in the Ballincollig area. I will discuss the child’s needs with their parent or guardian before the first lesson so that we can agree on clear goals and make each session worthwhile.
