About Gauher

I'm a product designer with experience across corporate, academic, and scientific environments, working end-to-end from research and strategy to UX, UI, and final product delivery. My background spans fast-paced commercial teams, where I’ve led product design and marketing functions to shape high-impact digital products, as well as long-term academic and public health projects that require deep audience understanding and careful problem-solving. My approach is rooted in user-centred design and accessibility. Whether I’m designing an app, mapping a service, refining a feature, or guiding a team through product decisions, I focus on aligning user needs, business goals, and technical realities. I’ve worked on complex digital ecosystems, transformed outdated systems into intuitive interfaces, and designed data-heavy dashboards that make information easy to understand. Alongside product work, I’ve taught design at multiple levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, helping students build confidence, structure their thinking, and create meaningful work. I enjoy translating complex ideas into clear, manageable steps, making product design approachable for anyone.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to your learning style, goals, and experience level, whether you’re exploring product design for the first time, preparing for a career transition, improving your UX/UI skills, or developing a real product idea. Each session focuses on practical, hands-on skills you can apply immediately. We’ll work through real digital product challenges, from understanding user behaviour to designing and testing solutions. You’ll learn how to think like a product designer and understand why certain decisions matter. Lessons are structured, supportive, and flexible, with room to dive deeper into areas you want to master. Topics we can cover together: - Digital product design from concept to final solution - UX research, user interviews, surveys, and data-driven insights - Accessibility principles and inclusive design practice - User journeys, personas, service blueprints and flows - UX design fundamentals and interaction design - UI design, visual systems, responsive layouts and components - Product strategy, feature prioritisation and MVP thinking - Creative problem-solving and ideation techniques - Prototyping (low-fi to high-fi) - Usability testing and iterative improvement - Design systems, consistency and scalability - Tools: Figma, Adobe Suite, Miro, Notion, WordPress and more - Building portfolio projects and case studies. Each lesson is practical, structured, and designed to leave you with new skills you can use straight away, whether you’re a student, designer, marketer, founder, or simply curious about product design.
