My name is Christine, I am 26 years old living and working in the city of Toronto. I currently work at the YMCA of Greater Toronto leading a national youth program. My experience here is what has led me to pursue work as a tutor, I am passionate about working with people and providing them with the opportunity and supports to achieve their goals.

My teaching methodology is grounded in a humanistic approach to learning, which emphasizes personal growth and development. I believe it is crucial to meet students where they are at and personalize lessons to each individual learning style.
A typical lesson plan will include an objective, expectations, a timeline of activities, and any additional instructional materials. Having worked with all age groups in my career, I am experienced in designing lesson plans to meet the needs of each student based on their level, class, and specificities.
As a tutor, I believe the key foundations to learning are passion, persistence, and perseverance. I believe everyone is capable of achieving their goals if they are given the opportunity and tools to do so. I look forward to supporting all students in achieving their learning goals and increasing their confidence in themselves and their abilities.
