About Niamh
Hi, I’m Niamh! I’m a qualified primary school teacher with a real passion for helping children learn, grow and become confident in themselves. I’m 23 and have experience working with children across a range of ages and abilities, both in the classroom and through tutoring.
Alongside teaching, I’m also qualified in gymnastics coaching, which has given me lots of experience working with children in a different environment. Through gymnastics, I’ve helped children develop confidence, resilience, focus and a positive attitude towards challenges.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged. I always aim to build positive relationships with the children I work with and adapt my teaching to suit their individual needs and learning style.
I particularly enjoy seeing the moment when something finally ‘clicks’ for a child and watching their confidence grow as a result.

As a qualified primary school teacher with experience in both classroom teaching and tutoring, I offer friendly, engaging and personalised online maths lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs.
Lessons are designed to build both mathematical understanding and confidence. I take time to identify areas of strength and areas that need further development, adapting my teaching style and activities accordingly.
Each lesson is interactive and supportive, using clear explanations, questioning and practical examples to help children understand concepts rather than simply memorise methods. I aim to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing a growth mindset.
Whether your child needs support with a particular area of maths, wants to consolidate their classroom learning, or would benefit from an extra challenge, lessons can be adapted to suit their goals and current level.
