About Gautam
With over two years of experience tutoring the SAT, I understand the test inside and out—not just as a tutor, but as someone who once struggled and then mastered it through a systematic, dedicated approach. I have carefully studied the Digital SAT, breaking down every problem type and supplementing practice with relevant questions from previous SAT versions. Whether it’s English or Math, I know exactly how the test is structured and the most effective strategies to tackle it.
I hold degrees in Molecular Biology and Computer Science from Oregon State University and have spent the past two years working as a professional test prep tutor. My approach is highly systematic: I emphasize step-by-step improvement and targeted practice, focusing on areas where students need the most growth.
I scored 1520 and 1550 on the SAT in 2017, including two perfect Math section scores, all before I began tutoring.
