About Nina
Hi, I am a retired teacher who has a thorough interest in teaching sciences at the junior and senior high school level. I love to inspire students with learning and reaching their graduation year. I have an interest in tutoring now to continue this, I have three grandchildren and will love to continue this learning in the next generation. Tutoring helps students to master their learning. Mastery learning is important for them to develop skills that will help them in the future. In my spare time, I love to read to enhance my concepts that I can give to my students.

I have been a science teacher at a large high school in the lower mainland BC for over 30 years. I have also taught in the Sigma program at the same high school which is a self-paced and tailored program. I enjoy breaking down complex topics in a simple manner through diagrams and helping students achieve mastery learning through consistent practice and repetition.
