I am very happy to introduce Mr. Benjelito Mallari. He was a Mathematics teacher in the grade school department of Colegio San Agustin, Makati. As his immediate head in Mathematics, I can vouch that he was an expert in Mathematics.

Mr. Mallari graduated with a Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Mathematics and furthered his study to take his master's in Mathematics at the Philippine Normal University. During his tenure at Colegio San Agustin, Makati, Mr. Mallari was our Mathematics coach for national and international competitions. His outstanding performance was evident in his students’ performance in which they brought numerous awards, including being the champion in several Math competitions. Mr. Mallari also handled Mathematics for the gifted and is very proficient in office productivity tools and integrated technology in his lessons.

With his high qualification, he was hired as a Mathematics Teacher in Indonesia and became a cultural exchange visitor teacher in South Carolina and North Carolina, USA. Mr. Mallari is a truly dedicated and passionate teacher. He is an honest, sincere, and committed educator and is sensitive to the needs and views of others. A certain asset to any institution he will be connected with.

Benjie and I started working as teachers for an international school in Indonesia way back in 2008. We used to live in the same house together with other teachers. He has a commendable work ethic and dedication to his profession. He is patient with kids and wakes up very early in the morning to prepare his lessons for the day. He is a father figure to students as he relates well to them and brings to class a happy disposition. When he started teaching in the US we still got in touch with each other, especially when discussing math problems. Benjie is a trustworthy person and the way he cares and educates his children shows the kind of pedagogy he applies to his students. As his colleague for 3 years at Hoke County High School at North Carolina, USA, he leads the Math department in terms of dedication and hard work. He has the mastery of all the lessons in high school as well as higher math. I like his accuracy of solving math problems and able to identify errors when we share some example problems. His art of questioning makes the student understand easily what Math is. He wants to complete work ahead of time. That makes him a wholesome Math teacher.
