About Segun
I am a "Translational" Teacher. I can speak "Math" in several different dialects. If the standard algebraic explanation doesn't click, I can translate it into a Financial model, a Medical ratio, or even a Linguistic pattern. I focus on the "Double-Check" mindset, teaching you two to three different ways to verify an answer so you never leave an exam wondering if you got it right.

I move away from rote memorization. If you understand why a formula exists, you'll never have to "memorize" it again. I use Scaffolded Inquiry, where I ask the right questions to lead you to your own discovery.
Learning math is like building a skyscraper. If your foundation (arithmetic and number sense) is shaky, the higher floors (Calculus or Physics) will always feel unstable. My job is to inspect your foundation, bolt down the loose beams, and ensure the structure can support as many floors as you want to build.
