About Kaylee

I am so passionate about helping others no matter how big or how small the task. I was valedictorian of my high school, and posted a 4.0 undergraduate GPA in the University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce. I was the NCAA Elite 90 Award winner and an Academic All-American. I work as a finance intern.

One of my core values is service. I am huge on giving back because everyone needs help at some point in their life. I did not get to where I am on my own, and no one else has either. I love helping other people succeed and be happy.

I have been tutoring since I was in high school. During the week, I would go tutor my peers in the morning before school started through our school's tutoring program.

I have a Bachelor's in Science from the University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Business. I had a 4.0 GPA and I was valedictorian of my high school class. I am about to start my summer job as a finance analyst intern for Boeing.

About the lesson

Since my lessons are online, I would love to Facetime or Skype so that I can see their smiling face. At first, I just want to get to know them and understand them, so that way I can better help not only with their work, but just to become a better person.

I have worked with mostly high school students, but I have also worked with my peers throughout college.

I would say to find a tutor that can connect with your child on a deeper level than just helping them solve problems. Give them a friend to just talk to and have as a resource when they are struggling with anything in life.

I went on a cruise this past Christmas with my family, and my sister told us that she is going to have a baby. This will be my first niece, so I am becoming an aunt and I am so excited.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should first think through the clarity of the problem. Get to the root of the issue before asking for help. Most of the time, if they are not understanding something, it is not because the material is too hard, but rather that it is not being taught in the right way for them to understand. They need to first determine why they are not understanding the material fully, so that someone else can help them in the correct way.
