About Sainihitha

Hello!

Thanks for checking me out. I'm an 18 year old that recently graduated high school, and took the ACT quite recently as well.

I, without any outside help, studied for the ACT all by myself, and achieved a score of 35 (English- 36, Math- 35, Reading- 36, Science- 33) after only 3 tries.

Now, I want to help other students gain their dream scores by using the knowledge I gained from several months of hard work and studying, that worked.

Being young, and a student myself, I know what works best and what doesn't work at all. I'll sit down with you and do practice tests, explain what you should and should not continue doing, teach you stategies, how you should be going about each question, and more to help you raise your score. The added benefit is that I can easily do all this over the internet considering the current state of the world.

While many parents and students prefer going to companies like Sylvan, I promise you that several of my peers have attested that these type of companies don't help much or teach you the essential tactics that you need.

Plus, the good quality tutors that DO teach you the test's contents, how to structure time, and strategize cost $80 to $200 per HOUR!

However, I will be doing all this and more for only $30 per hour, and I'm sure that I'll be able to help you raise your score.

I love helping and I love helping others learn. In high school, I'd often tutor underclassmen and my own peers, and would be thrilled to see improvement. Those experiences inspired me to continue that type of work.

I am a high school graduate headed to King's College London. I've taken 10 AP classes over my high school career (receiving either 4s or 5s for all of my tests), and several honors classes. My unweighted gpa was over a 3.8.

I took the ACT only 3 times, and achieved a 35 by studying solely by myself. The highest scores I've received on each section were:

English- 36

Math- 35

Reading- 36

Math- 33

About the lesson

First, the student and I will talk about what they'd like to work on, what they're good at, and what they need help with.

Then, we'll start by discussing general tips and strategies, particularly about structuring time, before working on some practice problems so I can see where the student is at.

After the assesment, we'll fill in the gaps regarding content, like grammar rules, equations, math concepts and etc.

I will then assign a section of the ACT for the student to work on for homework and then go over the section during a session. We'll figure out what went wrong, and went well, work on time management, and walk through each problem. We will lightly go over the questions that were answered right- to make sure that the student did it efficiently and knows how to do it in the shortest amount of time. Then, more thoroughly look at the questions the student was uncertain about or did incorrectly, and take it step by step.
