About Jo
Hi! I am a dedicated online tutor with six years of experience in both private one-on-one sessions and instructional group settings. My belief is that every student has a unique learning style, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs.
I specialize in tutoring math and science, having successfully guided students from kindergarten to high school calculus; as a college student, these subjects and the struggles that come with them are still quite fresh in my mind. My diverse tutoring background has equipped me with the flexibility to adapt to various instructional methods, ensuring each student receives the support they require. Currently pursuing a major in neuroscience with a minor in biology at an Ivy League university, I hold a deep understanding of the sciences and firsthand knowledge of the challenges students face in these subjects. I thrive on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, making learning both engaging and accessible.
