He really cares about his students and is able to properly acknowledge your strengths along with your flaws as an actor which allows you to grow as an actor while feeling confident in your abilities. He is a fun, fabulous, and outstanding teacher who I could not recommend more highly.

Marc cultivates the outrageous in his students, urging us to risk bigger choices, all the while providing a safe platform from which to explore. His background in Lecoq and his compassion for fellow humans makes Marc a keen observer of his student's personal clowns which means that the practice room is exhilarating. Marc encourages but holds students accountable for their choices. Equally skilled as a performer and director, Marc models a mind-body approach to acting more often found in Europe than the US. I find his approach to my acting challenges super specific and personal to me. I highly recommend spending some time unlocking with Marc!

Marc had an intuitive sense of the character I was developing in such a way that his work continued to evolve my existing material quickly into a more fully fleshed realization of the character. It was somewhere I probably would have ended up eventually, just better and faster.

Marc loves teaching, and it shows. As both an instructor and a director, Marc taught me so much about a range of physical theater practices, as well as how to combine them with other methods to create characters and events in theatrical performance. Marc's approach is very inclusive, and he's deeply invested in training queer artists and artists of color to be actor-makers. Coming from backgrounds in both academia and practical theater, he melds theory with practice to create a holistic learning experience.
