About Sam

You will grow as an artist and a person with me.

Wathcing people grow and leaving a legacy.

I began formally teachig as a subsitiute in Cy-Fair ISD. I subbed all levels for 2 years. I taught Fine Arts for four years.

I have taught Karate to all levels at Bear Loebe's Sport Karate America for several years.

Acting - I have a B.A. in Theatre/English, with over 30 professinal credits ranging from Classical to American Musical.

Martial Arts - I hold a Black Belt in Ameriacn Karate, a Blue Belt in Brazialian Jiujitsu, with experience training in in boxing, kickboxing/muay thai, and wrestling.

I have been playing drums for 19 years. I have experince in gospel/contemprary chrisitan, jazz, rock, blue/grass, hip-hop and many other styles.

I was a professional educator for 6 years in Cy-Fair ISD.

I am now a professoinal actor. I also write and perfom in an original comedy troupe.

About the lesson

In all my specialties, I evaluate the students curent level of experience and progress. From there, together we will set goals according to each students level of talent and experience.

As a public school teacher and karate instructor, I've worked with kids and adults who were entitled, wealthy, poor, mood disorders, tied up with the judicaial system, A plus over-achievers, average...I have worked with a very wide range of indiviuals. All of my students love me, I treat them all fairly and equally.

Find a teacher who you are comfortable with, won't sugar coat things for you, and who pushes you to excel to the top of your craft.

Learing stage combat techniques through the Society of American Fight Directors! Including, hand to hand combat, sword, rapier & dagger, whips, and much more!
