About Lauren
Lark Theatre Studio is a performing arts studio based in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. We offer a variety of classes for students at every skill level, from beginner to advanced. The goal of our studio is to help students develop confidence, self esteem, and performing arts abilities in a fun and safe environment. At Lark, we believe your only limitation is your own imagination!
What is there NOT to love? The arts allow students to explore their creativity, learn self-confidence, improve public speaking skills, bond with fellow students, have fun, and so much more! I love my job!
Lauren is the founder and owner of Lark Theatre Studio. She has been a performing arts instructor for almost fifteen years. Lauren is an award winning director and published playwright. As an actor, she has performed in over thirty productions including “Lady Macbeth” in Macbeth, “Mother” in Six Characters In Search of an Author, and “Essie” in You Can’t Take It With You. She has worked in varying facets of theatre education, having directed close to forty productions for the elementary, middle school, community, and professional demographics, including Annie, The Wizard of Oz, The Lion King, She Kills Monsters, and the Appell Center for the Performing Arts' Annual Playwriting Festival. Lauren is thrilled to be bringing her passion for the performing arts to students of all ages through Lark Theatre Studio!
