About Felicia

I have enjoyed over 30 years as a Theatre Educator. I've been a high school Theatre & British Literature teacher, community theatre director and actor and achieved my Masters degree in Theatre Education at the University of Houston where I studied in New York, Chicago, and the Royal Shakespeare Company in England. We will start with getting to know your objectives and style. Once we agree on our approach, I will outline a curriculum (including acting methods, physical/vocal work, etc) specifically designed to achieve your goals within a mutual time frame. Let's work together!

Einstein was right when he said "Creativity is intelligence having fun." Self-expression, public speaking, and assertive communication is key in any career field. As actors, we understand the importance of telling a story and entertaining audiences. Acting is an ART! It takes work, dedication, and a desire to always better yourself and push your imagination.

I hold a B.A. in Theatre Arts/Literary Studies and completed my M.A. in Theatre Education, both at the University of Houston. I'm a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. I have over 25 years of educational experience as a Theatre Educator, where most of my career was spent as a high school theatre director, plus directing/performing in community theatre. I love being a current UIL Texas Theatre Adjudicator which I've done for 8+ years; a Shakespeare Competition judge and director; a director and designer in Community Theatre; I started the annual New Braunfels Shakespeare Festival and Competition; I currently serve as President of the Greater New Braunfels Arts Council where we support & promote the Arts in New Braunfels and Comal County. Texas.
