About Tim

Personalized specific work is what I think is demanded of the actor and I work with specific tools that I have learned over the years that eliminate the vague and generalized.

I have been a professional actor for over 20 years with experience from Shakespeare to TV. My experience with Shakespeare includes a number of seasons with various Shakespeare festivals including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. My on-camera experience ranged from Boardwalk Empire to Law and Order (SVU,CI, and original).

I have recently been an assistant director to Ethan McSweeny on Long Day's Journey, Kent Paul on Lost in Yonkers, and Chris Hannah on A Streetcar Named Desire.

I have an MFA from A.C.T. in San Francisco and am a member of The Actors Center.

I am currently teaching beginning through advanced students and have been teaching for over 4 years.

After the season at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, I went out on a school tour sponsored by the festival. My partner and I created two short performance programs and one long program. The programs were followed by a workshop for the students.

I was able to assist Larry Hecht at Shakespeare Santa Cruz for his class for the interns, while I was appearing in Othello and Much Ado.

I was hired by Nassau Community College on Long Island about 4years ago and continue to work with students of varying talent and ability.

I received an MFA from ACT in San Francisco and have worked at various regional theatres throughout the country, with an emphasis in Shakespeare festivals.

The Actors Center in NY is my current training ground, with Master Teachers such as:

About the lesson

The types of my students vary from those that are on the path, to those who are merely trying to fulfill a credit, to someone needing help with their confidence in giving a presentation. I have coached students for graduate school auditions and students who are becoming nurses.
