About Ashley

I cover everything you need to know about the basics of acting, plus how to get a viable start in the business. What your resume should look like to choosing the right headshot, and where to look for auditions.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with of acting with people who are eager to learn and ready to work. Contrary to popular opinion having a career as an actor is a very attainable. You gotta be willing to do the work.

While I was in college I worked for a youth advocacy organization that focused on literacy. Along with teaching reading to elementary school ages children I was asked if I could do arts enrichment with my students so I decided to start a drama class. My skill as a teaching artist were further honed at Actors Theatre of Louisville where I worked in their theatre education department.

I have a B.A in Theatre from Temple University and I am a member of Actors Equity Association. After graduating from Temple University I received further acting training as an apprentice at Actors Theatre of Louisville in Kentucky. Since graduation I have had consistent work in acting and teaching.
