About Karelia
My first language was Spanish, and I love children! This is the best way to do both things I love; help other and working with children. I also have plenty of experience working with children, in a day care and in a school atmosphere.
Like mentioned above, I enjoy helping others. Being able to teach other what I know, helping them be that much closer to their goals, and overall learning from them!
I have many volunteer experiences with children, I am a native Spanish speaker, I am also a Spanish interpreter for both medical and legal fields.

Getting to know the child, making them feel comfortable and not forced or strange. Then, we can start small and focus on their liking. Something I've learned is, you won't learn something unless you like it.
I have worked with many different children; ages ranging from 6 months-12 years old. Of course, the babies were more of a child care learning; sensory, reading books etc. I have also worked with special needs children, and I can say I had a blast with both!
Give it a shot. Everyone is different, we all teach differently, but at the end of the day the teacher needs to learn how to adapt to each different child.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
As a teacher, we are required to meet different children's needs in many different ways. I don't think there is anything the child should consider before telling us their needs.
