I charge $20 to proofread an essay without meeting with me via Zoom to discuss it. Students can send me a Google Doc of their essay and I will proofread and suggest edits to their work. I always leave thorough comments and try to explain why edits should be made. If I have any questions I give the student a chance to clarify and I will proofread it a second time at no charge with those ideas in mind.

If a student would like to meet with me via Zoom to discuss their work face to face I charge an additional $15 for an hour-long chat. There I give the opportunity to ask questions or clarify further and we can discuss some writing conventions as well. I would suggest that anyone looking for help on special essays like college admissions essays schedules a meeting to discuss it either before or after I've proofread it as essays like that tend to be both more important in the long term and more personal and may need more explanation. 

If a student wants to have a lesson in writing conventions I charge $25 per hour of tutoring. I suggest students come to me with the conventions they are struggling with in mind as well as some materials they can work on at home. If you don't have something like a workbook or worksheets with you at home, please let me know and I can find some for you to print.
