About Daniel

I provide quality instruction where each lesson is tailored to fit the customer's needs. Each lesson is well defined and structured and focuses on achieving positive learning and communication between student and instructor.

My favorite part about instructing is being able to help others accomplish their goals and dreams of becoming a professional pilot. The fact that I get to work alongside people and see them succeed is extremely motivating and satisfying.

I took my very first introductory flight while attending university for mechanical engineering in 2016. Ever since that moment, I have fallen in love with every aspect of flying and am eager to share my experiences and passion with anyone I come across! In the following two years, I received my private/commercial certificates and instrument rating and graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s in aviation and a focus on professional flight. Along the way, I served as an officer on the university’s precision flight team where I flew across the country on more than one occasion, competing against some of the brightest upcoming pilots in the nation. Shortly after graduating, I moved down to Southern California to finish my flight instructor certification and have since moved back to the Bay Area to instruct!

I have a bachelor's degree in aviation with a focus in professional flight. In addition to that, I have flown across the U.S. twice and have competed in multiple flight competitions against some of the brightest upcoming pilots in the industry.

About the lesson

The first few lessons with a new student will consist of learning the fundamentals of flight, basic aircraft maneuvers and procedures, as well as covering certain knowledge areas assosciated with flying in the U.S.

When looking for an instructor that will meet your needs as a student, first gather as much information as you can on several different instructors and flight schools and then narrow it down from there according to what you value the most.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1) How much does the flight instructor cost?

2) How much do the aircraft that I will be training in cost?

3) How close is the airport to me?

4) What is the instructor's availability like?

5) What is the aircraft availability like?

6) What is the condition of the maintenance on the aircraft like?

7) Does the flight school offer part 61 or part 141 training?

8) Do you get along with the instructor?
