About Austin

I have been coaching this beautiful game for over 15 years and played with passion and #fortheloveofthegame all my life...coached my boys from 4-14 little league, than we started a travel baseball team @playmakersbp which I still coach 16u and 18u...2019-2021 I took a job as JrVARSITY coach at Baldwin Park High School recently resigned to get a chance to watch my son play high school baseball... currently coaching back little league 13-14yr olds

MY JOB IS TO RECOGNIZE TALENTS YOU DONT SEE IN YOURSELF AND FIND A WAY TO BRING EVERY OUNCE OF THAT TALENT TO THE FIELD...and when you see them finally get it and appreciate all the harsh criticisms and the hard work you made them do and see them excelling at their highest levels...not easy all them hours away from my kids to be at the field practices,games, traveling every weekend, fundraising, the unruly parents, the league politics , uncommitted players it takes a toll but there is no greater joy than being called COACH and impacting there lives on and off the field

I'm head jv coach at BPHS , I'm a board memeber at the little league coached 3 teams last year and I also run a top 14-15 travel team around

About the lesson

It will completely depend on there skill level and there age and if they are trying to just make little league all stars or trying to make the mlb ... I will teach the fundamentals, knowledge of the game, routines to work on there own , and I will instill the confidence it takes to step on every field loose with swag and ready to show up and show out..."don't be afraid to be great" I will communicate why this way is the right way and if we can video and going over video together is so important...I am constantly working on my craft and finally I believe 100% in my ability to develop 6-7yr old kids into college ballplayers as my first group is now 10-11th graders making huge impacts for there high school baseball programs

I developed D1 talents and have gotten kids to transfer from WCDUKES, SOUTH HILLS, COVINA PONY cause they believe in me as much as I believe in them

If you don't like the man you won't respect the coach... trust the process and enjoy the progress
