About Rob
I’ve been coaching & doing private lessons for 23 years! I enjoy working with young athletes and helping them develop to their fullest potential. Been a hitting & pitching instructor for over 20 years! Building confidence is so important at a young age. I believe in repetition to help shape these young athletes.
In 1992 Robert DeBrino was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 26th round of the major league baseball draft from there he enjoyed a 5 year career with the Twins. His total career numbers were 16 wins 12 losses 32 saves 158 strikeouts and a 3.80 era. After the Twins Rob pitched in the Northern league for 3 years winning 21 games and losing 12 with a 3.85 era.
Honors Received: Rob was inducted into the Northern Valley Old Tappan High School Hall of Fame in 2006. He received ALL LEAGUE, ALL COUNTY, ALL STATE in his 3 years on Varsity Baseball in 1991 Rob was awarded the Bergen County Record Athlete of the Week. He was one of two players chosen from NJ to play in the High School World Series Tournament in Ohio with three of his Teammates being Alex Rodriguez, Johnny Damon and Todd Helton all ex Major League Superstars! Rob also played for team USA and traveled to Belgium to play against Korea, Japan, Italy, France, Puerto Rico and Canada.
