About Ricky

I give professional style training to all the players I train. With the 5 years of professional baseball that I played, I get plenty of knowledge that I know spread all baseball and softball players. I do my best to help them make it to the next level and make sure they leave with a better understanding of the game as well. I’m a hands on coach that thrives on making players better and see them grow into the player that we all know they are capable of becoming. I played professional baseball for 5 years with Seattle and several independent teams as well and I my knowledge of the game and passion helped me throughout my career and now it’s my turn to spread that knowledge with the newest generation of baseball and softball players.

I always had a passion for the game. So when I was done playing I started coaching and wanted to give back to the players and help them the best way I know I could.

Player 4 years of college baseball at St. Thomas University got drafted twice. Once in 2009 by the Twins then again in 2013 by the Mariners. Played several years of professional baseball and I also help plenty of professional baseball players with their careers in the minor leagues.

About the lesson

My first class with a studen is simple, I evaluate the player break down their swing and show them a few drills that we will be working on the perfect their craft. Not every player is the same so not every player will have the drills.

I have worked with kids of all ages and also worked with professional players as well.

Just do your homework. Not everyone is there for the right reasons. And don’t spend your money with someone that doesn’t know what they are talking about.

I helped my best friend who is a pitcher for AA with the Royals finish off his season on a high note. Sometimes just a little bit of knowledge goes along way.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Always make sure you know what you want to do and work on. The teacher should be able to work with what you want and help you improve in any aspect.
