I decided at the age of 30 to start taking cello lessons with no prior musical experience and hired Vincent Basileo as my teacher. In the year and a half he has been teaching me he has proven to be incredibly patient and knowledgeable. An adult student has different benchmarks, challenges and motivations and he makes sure I always have defined goals and keeps me motivated by finding different and increasingly challenging pieces to learn. If I don’t understand a concept the first time he explains it or shows me he will find a new way until he ensures I fully understand. I would highly recommend Vincent as a cello teacher for a student of any age!
