About Anna
Young Cellist with 18 years of experience playing is looking for private students willing to learn the Cello at any beginning or intermediate level or Basic music theory and playability of any stringed instrument at the very beginning level. She has worked with both young children and adult students. Price and location are negotiable. In light of COVID interested cello players who are not taking their first lesson may take remote lessons over an electronic medium. In person lessons are still available for beginners and all other students, and the upmost care will be taken to ensure safety in all cases. I started teaching not music but English when I was a high school student I would tutor others. From there I realized I enjoyed helping my students learn and branched out into the cello by chance of someone asking for lessons.
I been privately instructed since age three using the Suzuki method, and have gone through all county orchestras, all state selections, several school orchestras, recreational gigs, chamber orchestras, and pit orchestras over my 18 years of playing. I have also taken courses on music theory. Apart from musical training, I have tutored in other subjects and have experience helping others learn in a way that best suits them.

I have worked with all ranges of students, both very young and very old. The Suzuki method is my preferred teaching style for beginners since it's how I learned myself, and it is easy for all ages to learn.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
String instrument lessons are fun, but they require a string instrument, especially for you to have at home to practice. These can be rented from a music store, but they may be more expensive than you had planned for. Consider if you can afford your startup equipment as well as the lesson costs.
