About Marco

I'm Marco, an experienced tutor currently pursuing my PhD in Economics at the University of Sydney. A little while ago, I achieved an ATAR of over 98 and a place on the NSW High Achievers List. Today, I teach a growing number of students and have a proven track record for improving student results and confidence. My lifelong passion for mathematics and open-source education fuels my motivation to empower students to reach their potential.

My teaching philosophy is simple: given the right support and encouragement, every student can succeed. I create tailored learning experiences to bolster skills and instil confidence. With patience, persistence, and by helping develop strong work habits, I inspire students to embrace learning wholeheartedly.

I have had the privilege of guiding thousands of primary, high school, and university students; developing an array of teaching techniques to create personalised learning experiences that cater to the unique academic needs of each student.

About the lesson

I have a fully equipped tutoring hub dedicated to learning and teaching from which I have conducted my private lessons over the past 8 years. It is set up with a desk, whiteboard, and an extensive library of past exam papers and textbooks. Tutoring lessons take place from a separate section of my family home, located in Wareemba, NSW 2046.

I am available every week and provide regular weekly times for students who require consistent help throughout the school term. I can also offer flexible help to students who require casual lessons from time to time and will always try my best to fit students into my teaching schedule.
