About
@stevewrightcounselor (TikTok) @wrightmindgolf (TikTok)
I’m Steve Wright, founder of WrightMindGolf and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with more than 30 years of experience helping people understand how their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, and behavior affect performance.
WrightMindGolf is different from traditional golf instruction. I’m not here to rebuild your swing. I work on the golfer operating the swing.
Many golfers perform well on the range but struggle when the score matters. They overthink, tighten up, lose confidence, rush, become frustrated after bad shots, or suddenly can’t access the swing they know they have. That’s where my work begins.
I combine decades of counseling experience with mental-performance coaching specifically designed for golf. We work on nervous-system regulation, confidence, pressure, focus, emotional control, pre-shot routines, commitment, recovery after mistakes, putting pressure, tournament preparation, and taking your game from the range to the course.
Sessions are available online and on the golf course. My on-course work allows us to identify exactly what happens mentally and physically when pressure appears, then build practical strategies you can use immediately.
You probably don’t need another swing thought. You need to learn how to access the game you already have when it matters.
