About Kala

I will find out what your personal goals are and we will make changes accordingly. I do not have a one swing fits all approach, I will work with the swing you have to produce a desired result. I have 8 years of teaching experience learning from Division 1 college coaches, PGA professionals and the PGA Teaching and Coaching curriculum. I am a 1st Assistant at the Links at Cobble Creek and a high school golf coach where I conduct junior clinics, as well as individual and group lessons. As a PGA Associate Level 2 I will not only provide swing, shortgame, putting tips but also fitness related practices as needed to help improve your golf game/swing.

My favorite thing about teaching golf is seeing students light up when they acheive the desired golf shot. I love seeing people improve and acheive goals we set for their game or their swing.

I am a PGA Associate Level 2 where I study Teaching and Coaching curriculum through the Professional Golf Management program.

I competed in Division 1 college golf at the University of Northern Colorado.

I have studied and learned from award winning PGA professionals as well as teaching professionals all over the country.

I put on junior camps and clinics as well as teach ages 4-85 throughout the golf season at Cobble Creek and have given hundreds of lessons each summer since graduating college.

About the lesson

In person lessons will be 45-60 minutes we will start with a series of questions so I can get to know you and your goals as a golfer leading into the lesson where we will work on set up first and move toward changing things in your swing to achieve the results you desire.

Online video lessons will receive an email after my revision of your video and somewhere between 2-5 things to work on moving forward to achieve the result you desire.
