We start with the first lesson to determine where the student is on their guitar journey. This lesson is more expensive than the rest at $50, broken down as $20 and $30 for materials, such as a guitar book specifically for the student. Every lesson after that will include studying from the book, learning to read music, learning to keep time, as well as learning some songs on the side, and once a month there will be a graded playing and written test.
In my area, I would suggest talking to them about your favorite music genre, to see if they have experience with that genre, being as that is probably what you'll be looking to learn the most of. If you're a beginner, see if they have a structured teaching process that will help you advance at an efficient rate.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Do you have a guitar? If you need one, do you have the money to rent or purchase one? What is your price range for lessons? How long are you looking to take lessons? Have some of these questions answered before talking to a teacher.

The standard pricing system is $50 for the first lesson, broken down as $20 for the lesson, and $30 to go towards materials specifically for that student, such as a guitar book. The rest of the lessons are $20 per lesson, however this is subject to fluxuate. If you are already taking lessons with me then your price won't change.
