About Richard

I have been touring performing and teaching around the world for over 30 years playing in 49 states and 12 countries. I have multiple sponsors supporting my career, created my own guitar camp, and enjoy working with guitar and ukulele students of all ages from beginners through advanced.

Entertaining audiences, putting smiles on peoples faces and giving them hope and encouragement as players of their instrument - guitar, ukulele, or music in general.

Began teaching before I had been playing for 2 years. Love teaching and sharing music. Just part of the journey for me.

Nearly 4 decades touring, recording and conducting over 2,000 guitar clinics and seminars worldwide.

About the lesson

Find out where their abilities are and what direction they would like to go with their music.

All levels but prefer individuals who are at least capable of holding the instrument with the ability to press their fingers down to create a few notes or chords. I can take it from there.

Consider that in addition to learning the instrument, whether it's guitar or ukulele, music therapy is often underrated or overlooked. Having music as part of your life to get away from life's pressures is gold.

Performing my first live concert virtually for my friends at the International Guitar Festival in Ireland. First experience at trying to entertain my laptop!
