About Bob
No gimmicks, no "play your first gig in one week" miracle programs. Just what works, and a whole lot of positive reinforcement. I'm not going to bore you with a TON of theory, but there will be some mixed in so you understand what's going on under your fingers. Most of all... let's have FUN!
From my photos, you'll probably want to say "Oh, he's a 'rock' guy," but I play most styles.

I start with the absolute basics, but also incorporate realistic milestone goals that make learning fun. Most beginners stop playing because there's too much effort with no real results.
"All" seems like kind of a cop-out, but it's true. A lot of beginners.
The two most important things are:
Do you get along with this person? Personality match I've found is fairly important.
Is this instructor responsive to your goals and willing to assist accordingly?
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your short-term and long-term goals?
For short-term think 30-60-90 days.
What's your level of commitment? How much time can you/will you devote to practice? Does this seem realistic given your stated goals?
