About Hugh

I've been a hands-on programmer for over 25 years. I've programmed in html, javascript, css, java, C, C++, TCL, Bash, PHP, SQL, ASP.Net, C#, Visual Basic, Bootstrap, JQuery and many more. These days I mainly keep my hands in the LAMP stack, Linux-Apache-Mysql-PHP plus Bootstrap and JQuery. But any programming language requires an organized, structured way of thinking and defining day to day problems in program logic. I've been able to do that in any language

I love to be able to build systems to do pretty much whatever I want, using open source and free solutions. I can't tell you how many times I've done that - and it's profitable! I have sold over $1 million worth of MY OWN SOFTWARE! I can teach you how to do that, too

I have studied programming in a couple of different colleges. I learned how to program in C during the 1990s. In 2,000 I worked at Microsoft in Washington as a contractor. I have a lot of experience creating platforms and architecting software solutions. I've made BEAUCOUP dollars selling software and working for others as a programmer.

About the lesson

First we'll have a little chat and see what you want to learn and determine whether or not I can provide you with what you want. If we are a good fit, then we'll talk about the learning path you want to take, and I'll let you know how I can make that happen for you. If there is a specific problem you need solved, I'll let you know if I can do that and we'll take it from there.
