While working privately with a new student I instruct and observe how a student understands and moves. I can then determine and formulate a personalized learning plan for the individual.
I work with students ranging from ages 4years to 60 years.
When looking for an instructor, you want someone that is not only a knowledgeable teacher and mentor but someone that you can personally relate with. Someone who teaches in a way that you can understand and get excited about.
My enjoyment of teaching is when my students "light bulb" turns on. There is nothing better as a teacher than seeing this happen.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The first contact is usually a question and answer session. Having a discussion about what their specific wants and outcomes in relation to taking martial arts.
