About Cameron
Since enrolling in my first Latin course in college, I have been very passionate about the language. I majored in Classics at the University of Colorado with a huge focus on Latin, and was able to work up to masters level courses by my senior year. Before graduating in 2020 I received the Dwyer Prize for Latin Translation and the Katherine Jacob Lamont Scholarship following a nomination from the Classics department, and made the Dean's List in four consecutive upper division terms.
I have studied Latin prose, poetry, teaching, and composition, and I am comfortable tutoring Republican, Imperial, Medieval, and Renaissance Latin, at the high school as well as college level.
I don't just enjoy Latin for its vast 2,000 years' worth of unique literature, the language itself is incredibly interesting! When you really get to understanding it, you get an exclusive look into how the ancient Romans thought about their lives and the world around them. So of course, I cherish the opportunity to share this expressive language!
I majored in Classics at the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a strong emphasis on the Latin language. I studied prose, poetry, teaching, and composition, and graduated in 2020 with a 3.367 GPA, and an A in every Latin course.

I'll start by seeing where the student is at with learning Latin, and work from there to address their weakest points and prepare them ahead of time for upcoming concepts. I stayed at the top of my Latin classes by being resourceful and branching out from my textbooks, so I'll make sure that my students have all the tools they need to do the same.
