About Samantha

I like knowing that students can leave not only learning what they need to know but also coming out learning more information on the topic at hand but also being a safe space for a student to make mistakes, recognize those mistakes, and solve them as well without consequences.

I enjoy making learning fun for the student. I take the time to make it fun and exciting for a student to learn while also helping them retain that information. I like giving them a chance to learn something new and be excited that they learned something new.

I always was known as the kid that knew the random facts about everything and someone would always leave school learning something new. I also wanted to give kids, from any age, a place where they can feel smart and valued and in school that's hard to come by when working with so many students without one on one time

I was proficient in English and math throughout high school and I currently have a degree in psychology and pre law studies. I have tutored all ages from elementary to college students in the past as well.

About the lesson

We focus on the topic at hand and work through it one step at a time. So we address the concern, offer a solution, and find a way that they can easily remember and retain what they learned. I ask questions based on their concerns and work around them.

I've worked with all kinds of students from any age range and any need besides a special needs student. I'm always up for a challenge so I aim to help any student I can and take in their concerns to better help them.

Always make sure that you won't get bored. If you are bored with the material or the methods, you will be less likely to want to learn them. Also always find someone that is passionate and serious about wanting to help you learn and grow to succeed.

An event that I am fond of that has happened recently was having a parent approach me to ask me to help tutor her daughter in online classes without knowing my education back ground. She just based it off of my character and that felt really good
