About Marvin

I stand out as a Speaker and Character Development Specialist for Student-Athletes by using life experiences and the "Realm of Realization" to impact them, their parents, coaches, administrators, counselors and the community.

Approaching your purpose with INTENTION and URGENCY should expand beyond the field of play into the classroom and every day life because as athletes...you aren't "better" than everyone else but you are "different".

I'm the former Character Development Coordinator for Bowie State University Athletics where in a span of six seasons, I mentored seven student-athletes who went on to sign NFL contracts and eight fMen and Women who signed NBA or Professional International Basketball contracts.

I also speak to and coach on the yhouth level via USA Football and as part of the Baltimore Ravens Youth Coaches. Through character development, I get the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the lives and sow seeds in a positive manner.

I enjoy encouraging student-athletes to see their worth beyond the field of play and have more than just an "Athletic Identity" or as Lebron James says, see that they are "more than just an athlete".

I have a Bachelors in Communication - Radio/TV Broadcasting, a Executive Business Masters in Sports and Entertainment Management, Department of Defense certification as an Instructor, Federal Government certificatino as a Coach and Mentor and Certification as a Mediator through the Justice Center of Atlanta.

About the lesson

In working with new Clients, I like to see what they've done, where they've been and how they've gotten there thus far then build a plan together to get them to the next level. For parents, the first thing I like to do is get them to understand the commonalities associated with the "Athletic Identity" and how that plays into everything their Son or Daughter does on and off the field of play.
