About Matthew

I'm a strength and conditioning specialist who works with clients online over a period of 16 to 20 weeks. I'm just starting out doing online coaching for people. However I've been weight training and studying strength and conditioning since I was 14. I'm 22 right now almost 23, I played football for 10 years including four years in college as a lineman and had the honor to be a part of 2 division 3 national championship teams. After graduation I've worked for free while working on getting my CSCS. I was officially certified a year after graduation. I've worked with marines, corrections officers, and athletes, now I'm ready to put my skills and experience to the test online. If you want to know more talk to me on facebook.

After graduating college I trained people for free, until i got certified. iathletes. I also volunteered as a football coach for a season at my old high school, working with young men ages 14 and up. But as a volunteer you can't do as much as a trained professional.

I have a bachelors degree in physical education. 2 minors one in exercise another in entrepreneurship. I have a CSCS certification from the NSCA and have competed at a very high level in NCAA division III football at the University of Mount Union. I've studied under nutritionists, movement specialists, strength coaches, exercise physiologists, and some people who have taken that knowledge and chosen to compete in powerlifting and bodybuilding.

About the lesson

I start with a short facebook survey. Just to get some information about my potential clients. Then I follow up with an email and phone call or video conference, I start with a 100 dollar deposit for a week to see if my students can follow a simple week of training and nutrition tracking. If you can't track your nutrition for monday thru friday and log a week of training I keep the deposit and if you still want be a client for me its another hundred dollars and its the same deal until you succeed in tracking training and nutrition for a week. When you do succeed I'll either return your deposit or put it towards my 20 week coaching fee of 1000 dollars. Why that much? Because if you pay 1000 dollars for something you'll put in the effort necessary to get results. Its an investment in putting my services into help build your future. My goal is that eventually you won't need me and you'll have the skills necessary to live a long happy and healthy life, as well as excell at any job or sport you may have that requires tremendous physical strain.

I work with driven individuals. I don't care where you're from or what you do. I will help you do it better to the best of my ability. That being said the majority of my experience is with young men in military and law enforcement as well as some young athletes.

Stay away from people who tout their credentials and act like their crap doesn't stink. Remember the professional makes the credential not the other way around, and there is no substitute for experience. A teacher must invest in their student as much as a student invests in their teacher. The teacher must create value for the student, and the student must understand what that value has.
