About Madelyn

You might be curious about what an ADHD Life Coach does. An ADHD Life Coach is someone who helps people decrease their struggles with their specific ADHD symptoms, and nurture positive change. We do this by partnering with the individual client (or group) in weekly sessions to examine the areas of their life they deem problematic and want to change. The coach helps the client foster awareness of what aspects of their life are helping or hindering them from achieving success. This relationship helps the client bridge the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. Each session we discuss the clients’ goals, break down the weekly chaos, and brainstorm creative solutions and strategies to help the client become the person they want to be.

I am a Certified ADHD Life Coach graduate from the IACT Center working towrads credentialing with the International Coaching Federation. I only work with a handful of clients so I can assure each one of them is getting my undevidied attention, and the most out of each session.

I love helping people reach their goals and solving their problems. Nothing feels better than when a client has an "ah-ha!" moment and has a breakthrough on what they need to do to acieve their goals.

I graduated from the IACT Center as a Certified ADHD Life Coach. Before that, my background was in improv and theater. I received a BFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. The history of coaching is heavily tied to theatrical history and teachings, so there is a lot of overlap in practices and philosophies.

About the lesson

I start with a 30 minute free consultation to make sure that the student and I are a good fit for coaching. From there, we can schedule a 90 minute strategy and planning session to further assess the student's needs and goals. After that we can develop a plan based on those needs. Some students only want to work for a month, some three, some more. However long the contract, typically I meet with students once a week for an hour.

I've worked with a range of students from high school to age 60! I do not descriminate on age. Anyone is able to be coached.

Make sure whatever coach you end up working with has studied with an International Coaching Federation affiliated program.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Whatever coach you end up hiring- and I believe you should interview a few to make sure you find someone that's a good fit for you- make sure they are trained at an International Coaching Federation approved training center.
