About Nancy
Hi! My name is Ms. K. The students call me Ms. K. because the first grade scholars who began my teaching career, were unable to say my last name of Kovacich. Since then the name, Ms. K became my new teacher name.
I have been a Certified Louisiana teacher for over 15 years focusing on math grades 1 - 5. The Eureka math curriculum became the favorite curriculum throughout the years.
Learning is difficult for everyone unless the teacher is able to make the learning process fun which makes it easier to master learning goal. My students have done very well and say its because Ms. K. made math easy and fun. I prefer to make the lessons interesting and enjoyable which keeps the students engaged. I have found the scholars are eager to attend math class because it is 'fun'.
I am able to succeed at teaching because students learn best when focused on lessons that are able to maintain the students' engagement while enjoying the learning process.
